Growing up as the only sister to four brothers, I didn’t have to work too hard to stand out. Born in NYC but raised in Los Angeles (to two actor-parents), our house was always filled with music and performances. Eventually, I earned a BA in Theater from UCLA, married actor Loren Lester, and worked in TV, film, and theater while raising our 3 actress-daughters, Julia, Lily, and Jenny.

Along the way, I also founded two successful enterprises: Art Plates - a fine art lightswitch cover business (sold in 2006), and Easylunchboxes, an Amazon #1 best-seller acquired by BENTGO in 2019.

After our daughters grew up and left home, Loren and I made the move to New York City, where we currently reside.
